Job Description
Position Overview:

The Rental Field Operations Specialist ensures customer satisfaction after the initial rental contract has been completed. The Specialist focuses on the delivery, setup, tear down and pickup of our rental assets, per the stipulations on the contract as guided by the store manager or supervisor. The Specialist is the last point of contact between the customer before their event or project, which makes their courteousness and professionalism vitally important. The person should fluidly adjust their daily role to fit the specific company needs and embrace the core values of Kabelin Hardware Company as well as Kabelin Rental Service's "11 Commandments."

Skills/Knowledge:
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the business
  • Mechanical aptitude a plus
  • Average math skills
  • Ability to learn
  • Working knowledge of a wide range of equipment and its application
  • Basic engine and equipment
  • Must speak clearly and write legibly in the English language
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently, 75 pounds occasionally and 100 pounds, infrequently
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds above shoulder level without assistance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, knee and crawl
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced envioronment with moderate noise level
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
License and Certificates:
  • Must possess and maintain a current valid Indiana Driver's License
  • Must be approved by Insurance carrier to drive a company vehicle
  • Upon hire, must be willing to obtain and maintain forklift certification
