Larson-Danielson Helps Raise Roofs for Habitat for Humanity

On October 1, 2025, Larson-Danielson Construction joined Habitat for Humanity of La Porte County at the Tibma Project to lend a hand in building affordable housing on La Porte’s east side.
 
Larson-Danielson donated the time of an Operating Engineer and provided a lift to help volunteers set the roof trusses on the fourth of five new homes under construction. The 117-year-old construction firm supported the third home in the same way last year, which is now nearly complete, and is proud to continue contributing to this meaningful community effort.
 
The Tibma Project is transforming the site of the former Tibma Bakery, once a local landmark, into a place for new beginnings. Thanks to Habitat’s leadership and the support of community partners, the neighborhood is coming back to life with homes that are both affordable and built to reflect La Porte’s history.
