How to Cope with Difficult People
‘Difficult People’ …How to cope with them in the workplace. We all, from time to time, encounter people who are “difficult”. Do you recognize any of these people? The tantrum thrower, the incessant complainer, the always negative, the silent unresponsive, the one who agrees but never delivers, the know-it all, and the staller who never makes a decision?
SCORE’s own Jim Hubbard will present a one-hour workshop on how best to ‘cope’ with these ‘difficult people’. Using Robert M. Bramson’s book on the same topic, Jim will give a prescription that will help cure the problem if any or all of these type people are making your life miserable. Jim is an HR professional and an attorney with over 45 years in the business world who has conducted training and education programs for employees at all levels of an organization.
This workshop will be held at the Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce, 162 W. Lincolnway, Wednesday, October 25th at 9 AM. Register by going to www.northwestindiana.score.org and clicking on ‘Take a Workshop’. A paper copy of the presentation will be provided at the workshop. Coffee will be served. Seating is limited so register today.
