On Saturday November 25th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, the Free & Accepted Masons of Excelsior #41 will present a "History of Freemasonry in La Porte, Indiana" in the meeting room of the La Porte County Historical Society Museum. There will be a presentation on the history of the lodge given right at
1:00 PM. The Freemasons have been active in La Porte since 1838. Masons will be on hand to answer questions about the fraternity and the artifacts on display dating as far back as the mid-19th century. There is no additional fee for the program and display; however, regular museum admission will be charged.
