Read Local Series- First Event at La Porte County Public LIbrary
The La Porte County Public Library kicks off the first event in the Read Local series on Thursday, April 12 at 6:00pm at the Main Library with La Porte native and author, Karen Day, as she joins us to discuss her newest novel, I'll Stay. Karen is the author of three young adult novels, Tall Tales, No Cream Puffs, and A Million Miles from Boston. I’ll Stay is her first adult novel. In this compelling, emotionally complex novel, a college friendship sparks a life-changing sacrifice that connects two women forever--even as it shatters their closeness.
Come and enjoy hearing Karen discuss how she came to write books, the process in which she goes through for her books, and some insight to help future creative writers. All ages are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the La Porte County Public Library.
